Why would a lady go through all the trouble of getting dressed up nice for a social event, have her hair done, and then wear open toed shoes with chipped nail polish?? Wouldn%26#039;t no polish look better??
Why would a lady do this,,,,?
Was she wearing pantyhose?
Just curious....if it were my Gram, she%26#039;d get shunned for that, too!
For some reason, we as ladies don%26#039;t pay as much attention to our feet as we should. Often ladies wear shoes that aren%26#039;t flattering, or are in bad repair. We should respect that part of our body, even if its a part that isn%26#039;t seen directly (someone will always do the look over).
I think she should have either painted her toenails again or taken the polish off....chipped nails while wearing open toed shoes=not caring.
P.S. If you were in Mobile AL lastnight, it was probably me who was wearing open toed shoes with chipped polish. I%26#039;m trying very hard to take my own advice here---my toes have since been fixed.
Reply:they want had seems good that find some boy friend or partner
Reply:She should have worn clear polish Most people do not think people will look at there feet when in fact they do Men or woman both should make sure there feet and nails are clean and well manicured
Reply:Perhaps, but you%26#039;re assuming she had the time to remove it.
You%26#039;re also assuming she noticed!
Reply:Yes - no polish at all would look better.
I DESPISE brightly colored nail polish on toes.
Reply:She was probly in a rush. I once got all dressed up for a fancy event. Nice tux jacket, beautiful shirt, tie, cummerbund, nice shoes, socks, even an old school garter. It wasn%26#039;t until three hours into the dinner that I realized I had forgotten pants. I promise officer, that%26#039;s what happened.
Reply:maybe she forgot about her toes until the last minute and didn%26#039;t have time to do anything about it. i usually forget about such details too when i get all dressed up. but you%26#039;re right, no polish would look nicer in this case.
Reply:you could simply say its our %26quot;culture and traditions%26quot;....
