I think ladies wearing a classic long sleeve blouse with skirt and nice shoes look great really smart and femminne. White blouses especially loook good. Heres a nice 1 http://www.marksandspencer.com/gp/produc... does anyone dress smartly like this these days or is it mostly casual you prefer?
White blouses?
I do for work. I think appearance is important and I also like to promote the right image. If I want to be taken seriously then I have to dress seriously and not as tho I am off to a cattle market, I mean night club lol

Reply:I love to see others dressed smartly, but I don%26#039;t like to do it myself, so I guess they all feel the same. I really hate it when men dress in shirt and sportcoat and then JEANS for dressy occasions. I also loved it when singing groups dressed really smart, in lovely pastel suits, etc. Now they are mostly just scruffy.
Reply:I prefer a bit of colour, usually pastels, I need to dress smartly for my work, but I don%26#039;t often wear white, it is a bit passe, colours express one%26#039;s individuality better, especially as most of my work colleagues are men..
Reply:My wife loves white shirts, especially the ones made by foxcroft. They are very similar to a mens dress shirt and come in a wide array of colors. She likes the menswear style shirts because she often wears neckties and they go well with the collar.
Reply:i hate to be pedantic but that is more of a %26quot;shirt%26quot; a blouse is like this: http://www.missselfridge.com/webapp/wcs/...
Reply:i think white blouses are only for weirdo english teachers like mine and don%26#039;t flatter anyone%26#039;s figure
Reply:I%26#039;d wear it to a school disco night! It%26#039;s a bit, %26quot;I%26#039;ll put my hair in bunches and go back 7 years%26quot; for me...much prefer to add at least some stripes!
