Do you wear bare legs or nylons with dresses when it's cold?

Hey! I have a problem that%26#039;s actually been bugging me for awhile. I prefer to wear skirts or dresses to church and I go every Sunday all year. In summer obviously I wear bare legs ands sandals, but the winters here are freezing cold. So now that winter%26#039;s coming up I%26#039;ve been thinking about it again. Do you think it looks funny for a girl/lady (whatever, I%26#039;m 21:P) to wear nylons when its cold? Are bare legs and open-toed shoes out? It%26#039;s hard to find %26#039;wintry%26#039; dressy shoes..what%26#039;s your opinion?

I don%26#039;t know what cold weather is where you live, but here it is minus twenty (Celcius). I always wear skirts, and of course I cover my legs in the winter. I have a nice selection of pantyhose of different thicknesses, colors and design, and shopping them is just as fun as shopping other garments.





You wear others shoes in the winter, and when it is too cold to be a lady I have a pair of pumps waiting for me at the office. Some say that is a sign of vanity, but I think it is fun.
Reply:I guess it really comes down to your personal preference. Me personally, I never wear nylons and almost always open-toed shoes. (and then I complain on the way to Church because its snowing outside LOL) I don%26#039;t think that there is anything wrong/funny about girls wearing nylons as long as they blend in with her legs. That is a BIG pet peeve of mine, when women wear the wrong color of nylons.
Reply:Pretty much any shoe is a %26quot;winter%26quot; shoe that%26#039;s not open toe or back. If its open toe/back, you%26#039;ll look pretty stupid with stockings on.





It doesn%26#039;t look funny for a woman of any age to wear stockings or heavier tights (they even make them in wool). I see women of all ages wearing them and they look classy. And who cares about what people think anyway? Your opinion of you is what matters most. And, tho I%26#039;m not a church person, I think that as long as you%26#039;re dressing sexy respectfully-like not showing too much skin-you%26#039;ll look just awesome.





My fave shoes for winter are suede, velvet, and patent leather.
Reply:stocking/tights/leggings/thigh high stockings, anything like that will look great but i would not wear them with open toe shoes tho unless the stockings/thigh highs are sheer coloured!





otherwise you can wear the 3/4 leggings which go half way down your calf with open toes or wear boots with your stockings and skirts...

Reply:yeah right its to old lady!tights are so stylish with some heels,a thin long sleeve underneath that matches a color in your dress would look HOT!
