"Smart Casual" evenings??

We just got our Cruise Answer Book from Princess in the mail yesterday. It says exactly this:





Smart Casual Evenings:





Passengers dress as they would for a fine restaurant at home.





- Skirts/dresses, slacks, and sweaters for ladies


- Pants and open-neck shirts for men





In the dining room, items such as cutoff T-shirts, shorts and halter tops are not permitted. Shoes must be worn at all times.





Soooo... I%26#039;m confused. Can I wear nice skinny blue jeans like these (in Extreme Dark)? It doesn%26#039;t say no jeans.

i would not think that jeans are appropriate. the answer book thing says SLACKS for women, which does not include jeans. Especially anything low rise. You would be better off with capri pants in either white or black to go with the top and sandals you picked. I like the water color top the best.
