Guys, how important is it to you the way how your wife or girlfriend dresses herself?

When I was a teenager, my father used to criticize me for the way I dressed.





He said I was too simple.





I didn%26#039;t used to wear skirts often, and I didn%26#039;t like too sophisticated clothes.





In my early twenties, I used to wear skirts, blouses, blazers, stockings and high heel shoes.





Now, I prefer to wear jeans (not faded jeans), loose jumpers or parkas (in bright colours) , and high heel boots... Oh, and I never exempt my sunglasses...





I know I don%26#039;t look like Lady Diana, but that%26#039;s not my intention either.


Nowadays, I like to feel comfortable, and not to draw attentions.





But my youngest brother now often criticizes me for not dressing well.





I think I look okay, and I don%26#039;t think my brother has the right to tell me how to dress myself.


I also don%26#039;t think his wife has such a good dress sense either.


She looks simple to me most of the time.





I also don%26#039;t see many people well-dressed on the street. (So, why should I look different?...)

Guys, how important is it to you the way how your wife or girlfriend dresses herself?
I like my wife to dress to suit the occasion, if we are going out for a meal or the theartre dress up, if we are going out for a barbecue neat but casual and if we are staying home, very casual or i do not care if she does not get dressed at all.
Reply:Its important to me, in some ways. My girlfriend and I have set boundries over lengths and what not of clothing. I am a fan of being modest to about the fullest potential (without getting crazy). We both hold those morals. It shows each other that we care and are serious about each other just by dressing appropriately. I have said theres a time for skimpy things (cough...bed room...cough) when we%26#039;re married more so, but in general modest clothing is a must. As far as what your talking about, I don%26#039;t care how my girl dresses. It%26#039;s not important to me how she looks (in terms of clothing selection). Cause I don%26#039;t need some complicated model look (uck) to get my attention.
Reply:dressing bad or dressing good is only a matter of opinion and of tastes. if you like the way you look and you feel atractive, what else should matter? it%26#039;s important that you feel good about yourself, if you do, it means everything is ok.

Reply:I could careless. My girlfriend looks ggreat in anything. My belif is dress the way that you are comfortable not so that you fit in.
Reply:If a girl dresses neat and tidy so be it but if she dreses like a slobb thats bad it is good to see our partners dress well however my wife is beautiful and sexy even when dressed in tack pants and sweater ! (:0)

no one except for models doing a photo shoot can pull that off
