Double standard or what ??!!?

Is it true that in America we have a double standard regarding womens makeup and dressing for out in public .

On the one hand alot of effort goes into pushing and keeping the chest out and cleavage showing.

Makeup put on -hair styled- alot of leg showing at times

tight jeans helping to reveal alot of curves- shoes that help to finish off that sexy touch etc., etc.

Now don%26#039;t get me wrong- I don%26#039;t disagree and actually enjoy visually complimenting the effort that goes into most of it...Really!

But the thing that confuses me is the attitude by the female persuasion that says...%26quot;WWwwwaaaiiitttt aaa mmiinnnuuttee !!!! Your NOT suppose to look at that...your a male pig!..married! got a girlfriend! yadayadayada!!!

It%26#039;s built into the guys to react by looking ladies...if it%26#039;s out there for us to see then what do you expect.

BTW: I%26#039;m happily married and both my wife and I compare notes about others dress and looks, both male and female- it doesn%26#039;t seem to bother us.

Double standard or what ??!!?
I see what you are talking about. I think what a woman wants when she is dressed to please are respectfull looks from a man.

If she has gone through the time and hassle of grooming and make up, and she holds herself with dignity, then she deserves to be looked at with respect. And the same goes for a woman who knowingly dresses to kill in a seductress way. She is going to attract looks from men with deeper thoughts in their heads.( I am putting it nicely).
Reply:Very true, men love to look at the curves, flesh, etc in others and in their own woman, but with their woman in private mostly. Most guys don%26#039;t want another person checking out their chick.
Reply:You are right. Our society has twisted appearance into a confusing mess.

Women wear the clothing that shows off their bodies beautifully. Both men and women look at women and enjoy how they look.

By the same token, men who stare gawkingly are quite rude. There is an etiquette to how you look at others. There is nothing wrong with looking and appreciating what you see, but do not make it obvious and do not draw attention to yourself.

My wife at first got upset about my looking at other women. I explained to her that if I plant flowers in my garden, that does not mean that I stop looking at everyone else%26#039;s garden.

I also hear a lot of guys say that they do not like their wives wearing miniskirts and the like. I always ask them if they were attracted to their wife in part because they saw her in a miniskirt. Almost all of the guys loved seeing their wives in miniskirts before they got married. The problem here is fear. Married women should wear their miniskirts just like they did before getting married. Their husbands need to trust them. I love seeing my wife in a miniskirt and I trust her. I know that even if another man is attracted to her, that does not mean she will leave me.

I think that men should dress more for show and women should be able to enjoy our curves. We do have them, you know. You can read about my ideas at the men%26#039;s fashion freedom web site in my source list.

Take care,

Troy
