Wordrobe Help?

Im going into high school so my moom said i have to start dressing like a young lady bewcause i like to shorts t-shirts and tenis shoes. Should I change my wardrobe.

You should only change your wardrobe if YOU want to. You express yourself through what you wear, and if you dress how your mom wants you to, youre not gonna be the real you when you get into high school. People are gonna accept you whether you dress like a diva or a thug.

Reply:well it depends what kind of shorts you wear. some girls wear long shorts like boys. you should try to wear shirts without writing or pictures. but thats just my opinion.
Reply:You don%26#039;t have to %26#039;change%26#039; your wardrobe, as much as expanding it to include some nicer clothes, better suited to someone a little older.


Keep the shorts and tees for when you%26#039;re not at school, or maybe for gym class. Unless you have to wear a uniform for gym, nothing says you can%26#039;t still look cute.

Reply:I am going into high school too, but I go to a private school, so I have to wear a uniform and don%26#039;t really get a choice. Ummm, don%26#039;t wear like really really short shorts, and wear nice shirts, not ripped or extremely worn out. I usually end up in khakis and a collared shirt of some sort because I golf all the time. Just look respectable when you should and then you can go casual when need be. Don%26#039;t all of the sudden wear like skirts and dresses though! Unless they are cute and young.

Reply:Well it depends on your personality, like i lovvve wearing girly clothes, but usually always with a pair of skinny jeans from american eagle or abercrombie! Just go into some new stores and see what you think looks cute! But i would def try to look for other looks byee%26lt;3
