The Frat Boy/High school look: i.e. Black shoes, Boot cut jeans w/ an untucked striped button down shirt?

Alright guys, you know who you are. i personally hate dressing like this anymore now that i%26#039;m a bit older. I tried it once recently just to feel it out again and i felt like i was back in high school. So guys, are you still sporting this look post high school? If so, why? Also, Ladies: what is your opinion on guys in their, oh lets say, mid to early 20%26#039;s who still rock this style?

I personally love this look. Fitted jeans, nice button down, with soft bottom shoes (whether diesel sneakers, lacoste..etc). I work in the fashion industry and thats the norm here for men to wear during casual summer.
Reply:I personally like the whole A%26amp;F look Iam 23 and I like a man that is well dressed and put together.. I preffer men in soft bottoms then tennis shoes.
Reply:If a man feels confident in what he%26#039;s wearing, then he%26#039;s wearing the right thing.
Reply:looks good to me! clean is always good. please dont let the pants be toooo baggy
Reply:its hot..

clean is always a good look
Reply:Here%26#039;s an idea:

Jeans (not too loose or tight)

Unbuttoned button up shirt

Shirt under your unbuttoned one...

That%26#039;s nice!
Reply:I%26#039;m 25 and I still wear a version of this look. I ditched the overly striped shirts in favor of solids or tonal striped shirts(ie different shades of blue). Every now and then I throw a leather or suede blazer on top if I%26#039;m feeling dressy that day. Also you could try a different color of shoes, I have a tan pair that I get compliments on all of the time. As long as you feel good in what you are wearing, you are fine.
Reply:I think it%26#039;s hot. I love the whole clean-cut look. It definitely works in your twenties ..

Thirties are probably pushing it.

Then you%26#039;d look like you were trying to fit in with the high school crowd.
Reply:I actually prefer this look. Most of the HS/%26quot;frat boys%26quot; that I see look like they just rolled out of bed (they probably did). They wear jeans with holes or baggy jeans, a graphic tee and some flip flops. Looking like you%26#039;re put together goes over better than looking like you just woke up from an all night kegger!
